I spent decades in sales and one thing I learned is people buy based on stories. When our emotions are stirred, it motivates us to do things out of our comfort zone. I could (and unfortunately did) recite statistics, compile logical arguments, and explained every feature and benefit in great detail. However, a story about another person’s success was the most powerful tool in my arsenal.
