We can see how the world is becoming more divided, and more subservient to Big Brother. Lies are fed from a TV screen, wreaking chaos in the streets for the sake of propaganda. The populous crumbling under their boot. Do you see much of 1984 in the present time? Are we going down that road?
I see our elected officials pander to Big Business and Big Pharma, hoping the wealthy continue to line their pockets with coppers. Fascism runs rampant in your political system, all to earn, or steal, a buck. We as a society have lost our way and strive for status instead of harmony. Wealth instead of humility. We are bound by our environment, an environment that pushes the people to greed, lust after status, and let’s not forget pride… “We are doing just what’s best for you, Big Brother knows best…”
1984 could be seen as a warning to the malice the Government is capable of. “Absolute power corrupts absolutely” is indeed the exact reason why complete control just doesn’t work. Crypto is a good example of decentralization working at its finest. With no regulatory board overseeing the crypto space, allowing the market to grow and flourish, we see one of the fastest adoptions of technology ever.
The big reason Big Brother was able to subjugate their people in 1984 so easily is because they we’re stripped of everything. Identity, thoughts, community, you became a cog in their wheel. Good enough until you need to be replaced.

Big Brother does indeed exist, and they’re coming. Politics don’t matter here. This is about surviving the current assault on our freedom and liberty. Red or Blue, doesn’t matter. You’re an American. You’re someone who believes in Freedom and Liberty. You will not be forced to comply and abide, we will stand. We. Will. Fight!!!
How do we fight? Well, we stop relying on Big Brother. We cannot take the treats they give for compliance while also judging them for their crimes. That would be hypocrisy. The logical answer is to become self-sufficient and no longer give control over your life to Big Brother.

What we see from 1984 is the cruelty of Big Brother, and in the Animal Farm, we see it through a primal viewpoint. The direct and upfront nature of totalitarian rule. Oppression and out right Evil.
